I've had this for ages now but only given it a handful of listens. I think the vocals put me off a little at first. Anyway listening to it loads now. Its absolutely amazing.

Aye, the vocals erected a rather massive appreciation barrier when I played it to my lass. As far as I'm concerned however, it should be considered a rare and fortunate thing to find a vocalist capable of conveying such a profound sense of desperation and agony. It's especially excruciating when all but the guitars drop out halfway through 'Sterile Nails and Thunderbowels' and so leave the vocalist to do his most foul...and by Christ does he!

It truly is a modern masterpiece.

Yeah, Me and Reece where had it on the other night after drinking a bottle of vodka each and smoking some of his dads weed about 3am (we don't smoke it much, if at all) Anyway reece had the lights off and was headbanging to his album and it sent me on some really wierd trip. I didn't know who he was at first then later on I thought Reece turned evil and I was actully scared of him.

Point been, don't smoke weed and listen to this album in a dark room.

Umm it seems there was pcp on the weed.

I'm giving Diagnose; Lebensgefahr - Transformalin a listen now. Its not black metal. It's ok but nowhere near as good as Silencer.

It reminds me of some album I made on my laptop about a year or so go with just noises having there pitch lowered a lot to create some weird rumbling sounds.

The third track is a lot like Lustmord. The second track could have been good but I didn't like the talking over the top.

Silencer album is amazing, i`ve had it for a number of years and it still has the same effect on me as it did when i first bought it
