| I would find it hard to pin down a favourite. There's so many different styles I like. That plus I only listen to the stuff when in the right mood. I'd say Aghast for sheer darkness, Mortiis for that medieval atmosphere and Arditi for industrial and most importantly Lustmord for pure minimalism! |

| Mortiis when he adhered to his 20 minute limit for minimum song duration. Also Dark Ages, more medieval stuff but more akin to orthodox dark ambient. |

| While it isn't 'dark' ambient really, I absolutely love Nest beyond belief. I really need to track down their full album. |

If you ever find it on any distros, let us know! I heard "Mink Twins" a while ago, and have never been able to find anything else by them. Even on P2P programs. |

I haven't found the full album...well I did on soulseek but the queues were ridiculous. This site may prove useful... http://www.mikseri.net/artists/?id=23250
Lots of their songs for download, and legal as well Although my favourite song is definitely Last Vestige of Old Joy from the split with Agalloch. Tis on their myspazz... http://www.myspace.com/nestfinland |

Yeah, Nest are incredibly good. The idea to do a split with Agalloch was clearly genius.
As for other ambient stuff I'm not sure if that'd be my thing. I'd have to download some and give em a listen sometime. |

I did some looking around last night and it was limited to 500 copies and I've seen it sold for around £15 so I'll give you £15. I think postage including an envelope is around £2 but I haven't sent a vinyl in ages so can't really remember. Just message me your address and I'll send the cash. I'll send it registered as well after having money nicked in the post. 8)
It is original isn't it? I know they re-released the CD but I'm not sure about vinyl. |
